About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, ship new features, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Ensure app performance, quality, code robustness through unit and instrumented tests, code reviews, and adherence to UI/UX standards and Android architecture patterns.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience as an Android Developer with published apps on Google Play Store.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin; working knowledge of Java and Android SDK tools including Android Studio.
- Experience with Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager), MVVM/MVP patterns, dependency injection (Dagger 2 or Hilt), reactive programming (RxJava/Kotlin Coroutines), and code versioning (Git).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full mobile app development lifecycle from conception to deployment and maintenance in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in implementing automated testing and performance optimization techniques on Android.
- Comfortable with modern Android development practices including CI/CD integration and consuming RESTful APIs effectively.
