About This Role
- Own and define the overall automation testing strategy for web and API testing, ensuring alignment with project and product goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript and industry best practices.
- Lead QA team by mentoring, establishing standards, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement in quality engineering.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of software testing experience with at least 2-3 years in a lead role.
- Proficient in Web and API automation with Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Graduation degree.
- Location: Kochi.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks for both UI and API testing with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Karate, or Rest Assured.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing QA teams and driving automation efforts within Agile and DevOps environments.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and AI-assisted testing tools to enhance test automation efficiency and quality.
