About This Role
- Manage daily broking back-office operations including trade support, clearing & settlement, reconciliations, risk operations, and client service.
- Ensure timely settlements, accurate reconciliations, strong controls, and regulatory compliance with SEBI, Exchanges, Depositories, and Clearing Corporations.
- Collaborate with Technology, Compliance, Finance, and front-office teams to drive operational stability, support audits and regulatory inspections, and implement process improvements and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Mandatory certification: NISM Series VII - Securities Operations and Risk Management.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in stock broking operations, clearing, or depository functions.
- Deep functional knowledge of NCL & ICCL settlement processes, reconciliation, risk operations, collateral management, reporting, and back-office accounting software.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong domain expertise in broking back-office operations and regulatory compliance, including SEBI Master Circulars and Exchange rules.
- Demonstrated experience scaling high-volume broking operations with operational resilience and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience working in large broking or financial institutions with capability to prioritize, supervise, and manage operational teams and workflows.
