Embedded firmware and automotive safety-domain expertise is highly industry-specific and not easily transferable.
Explicit 18+ years and niche automotive embedded firmware requirements make candidate filters very strict.
Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration of embedded firmware, kernel/user mode device drivers, stack extensions, and test utilities for Ethernovia's networking devices.
Develop and maintain firmware and device drivers enabling control, configuration, and monitoring of communication devices, interacting closely with host systems.
Contribute to firmware development for safety-critical automotive applications, ensuring adherence to functional safety standards and rigorous quality practices.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
Minimum 18+ years of relevant embedded software development experience.
Proficient in C/C++ programming; experience in firmware development for communication devices like Ethernet.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 18+ years in embedded software development.
Extensive experience designing and implementing embedded firmware and device drivers in communication or networking domains, especially Ethernet-based devices.
Demonstrated ability to lead software architecture and development lifecycle for safety-critical embedded systems, including testing and compliance to automotive standards.
Experience working with hardware-level integration, code optimization, and functional safety processes (like MISRA, ASPICE, ISO26262) to meet strict automotive requirements.
