About This Role
- Architect and manage complex Cisco IronPort ESA deployments including high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery in large-scale environments.
- Lead Tier-3/L4 troubleshooting for critical email security incidents with protocol-level analysis (SMTP, DNS, TLS) and root cause investigation.
- Design and enforce security policies, plan and execute migrations/upgrades, automate tasks using scripting and APIs, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in enterprise email security and messaging platforms; 5+ years specifically with Cisco IronPort ESA.
- Strong expertise in Cisco ESA features including AMP, DLP, encryption, content filtering, and outbreak filters.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux administration and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience integrating Cisco ESA with Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019) and Microsoft 365 environments; strong networking knowledge including firewalls, NAT, subnetting.
