Design, develop, and enhance SAP APIs and RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows) primarily using ABAP and OData services.
Lead full lifecycle API management including design, build, testing, deployment, and support, ensuring interoperability across multiple SAP and non-SAP systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and onsite/offshore teams to meet enterprise standards, review code quality, provide production support, and manage multiple deliverables in a hybrid working environment.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of SAP ABAP programming experience in S/4HANA environment.
Minimum 2 full SAP S/4HANA lifecycle implementation experience.
Mandatory skills: ABAP 7.4 or above, RICEFW development, CDS Views, AMDP, UI5/Fiori, ODATA, JavaScript, SAP upgrade project experience, Finance and Purchasing modules (SD/FI/Ariba) domain knowledge.
Work Experience Required: 5+ years in SAP ABAP; Location: Chennai, India; Work Type: Hybrid.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA technical stack with hands-on experience in core enhancement frameworks (BAdIs, S/4HANA In-App Extensibility) and output management (Adobe Forms, Output Control).
Experienced in integration technologies including IDOCs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and API gateways like APIGEE, with ability to consult on consuming SAP APIs.
Demonstrated ability to lead code reviews, production support documentation, and collaborate across onsite and offshore teams in agile or iterative development environments.
