Vice President - Platform Engineering & Operations

Lead and oversee the India Platform & Operations organization, including strategic site leadership and building a high-performing engineering team.

Manage global Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support with 24/7 availability, driving incident management, controls, and monitoring to improve reliability metrics.

Drive automation and FinOps initiatives such as AIOps adoption, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and cloud cost optimization while managing the India center’s operational budget.

15+ years experience in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or SRE with minimum 5 years in senior leadership (Director/VP) in a Global Capability Center or large tech firm.

B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.

Deep expertise in cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern observability tools.

Proven experience managing Tier 1/2 support teams and implementing FinOps practices with multi-million dollar budget responsibility.

Experienced strategic leader with a track record of scaling platform engineering teams and operational excellence in large global tech centers.

Data-driven decision maker comfortable with complex technical telemetry and executive-level communication.

Focused on automation-first mindset and financial efficiency to transform infrastructure operations from reactive to proactive models.
