About This Role
- Design, develop and support a scalable, high-performance OpenSearch platform managing thousands of search domains.
- Contribute to both open source code and the managed service platform focusing on scalability, performance, robustness, and cost trade-offs in a cloud-based environment.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth 24x7 worldwide service operation, and apply mathematical modeling to evaluate system performance and platform success.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- At least 2 years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience across the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building large-scale, cloud-based distributed systems with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Proficient in system design and architecture related to search technologies or similar complex platforms.
- Capable of working in an agile environment, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
