Associate Director, Data Engineer

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and gold-tier datasets across the data lifecycle using Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power BI.

Own the quality, integrity, and documentation of enterprise-wide data products and reports supporting decision-making for leadership and business stakeholders.

Lead strategic initiatives to improve data product delivery speed and support experience, including mentoring technical team members and setting engineering standards.

8+ years experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or related fields with senior technical contributor experience.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Strong skills in ETL/ELT pipeline design, SQL, Python, Power BI (DAX, Power Query), Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure cloud services.

Experience with data governance, automated testing, documentation, and maintaining data quality in enterprise environments.

Experienced senior data engineer with proven ability to architect scalable, future-proof data solutions in enterprise settings.

Operates across full data-to-insight lifecycle and excels in building and optimizing data models and reports with strong technical leadership.

Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business data requirements into technical implementations and mentoring peers.
