About This Role
- Lead end-to-end accounting, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closure ensuring accurate and audit-ready books.
- Manage statutory compliance and lead audits (statutory, internal, donor) maintaining continuous audit readiness.
- Supervise payments, payroll, budget alignment; strengthen financial controls and manage a team of 4-5 associates.
Minimum Requirements
- Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (mandatory).
- 3+ years post-articleship experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, Income Tax, PF, ESIC; FCRA preferred.
- Location: Navi Mumbai with periodic travel to Pune or other locations.

- Experienced in NGO or grant-based organizations, especially with financial compliance and audit management.
- Demonstrates strong ownership and ability to drive closure discipline with high accuracy.
- Capable of managing and building capacity of a mid-sized accounts team, improving financial processes and systems.
