About This Role
- Own end-to-end management of enterprise storage systems including HPE XP8 or Hitachi 5600, SAN, NAS, and Object Storage technologies.
- Design, implement, and validate SAN fabric topologies and zoning for high availability using Brocade, Cisco, or MDS switches.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting, capacity planning, firmware upgrades, data replication, and coordinate with L1/L2 support and OEMs for storage hardware and backup/recovery processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications or equivalent (B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA).
- Minimum 7 years experience managing enterprise storage systems including hands-on storage management and SAN switching.
- Advanced level certification in Storage and SAN Switch OEM products required.
- Role is onsite at HPE partner/customer location; willingness to work primarily onsite is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced storage specialist comfortable with complex SAN environments and advanced troubleshooting at L3 level.
- Proficient in coordinating with cross-functional IT teams (VMware, Application, SAN Switch, Network) for integrated storage solutions.
- Demonstrates strategic capability in storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and data migration in enterprise IT operations.
