About This Role
- Own and build user-facing surfaces in OpenPHC including Next Steps app for frontline workers, AI Micro-Coach screens, and Administrator Insights dashboard with focus on offline-first design and data presentation.
- Implement integrations such as Sahai/ABDM on top of identity and consent layers and handle multilingual consent notices and user data rights workflows.
- Write automated tests for all Next Steps requirements and co-own interfaces that require architect review before deployment.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–14 years of experience building production web or mobile applications for non-technical end users.
- Experience building both transactional field apps and data/dashboard UIs.
- Proven skills in offline-first or intermittent-connectivity application design.
- Proficiency in React/React Native, Flutter, or similar tech stacks; strong automated testing discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing AI-assisted applications with a mindset to deliver at multiple times traditional output without compromising quality.
- Familiar with applications serving low-connectivity rural or underserved userbases, preferably with knowledge of Indic-language UIs.
- Able to iterate live products based on real field feedback and knowledgeable of data privacy/security compliance such as India's DPDP Act 2023 or CERT-In audits.
