About This Role
- Own test strategy design and CI quality gates for AI-augmented codebase ensuring test suites fail when code is incorrect.
- Manage mutation testing including configuration, thresholds, defect triage, and feedback to engineers and AI coding assistants.
- Build and maintain automated tests for privacy enforcement, traceability tools, defect replay regression suite, and ensure consistent quality standards across multiple PODs.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience in test automation or SDET role, not manual QA.
- Proven experience designing test strategies and maintaining CI pipelines with automated test gates.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Preferred education: Tier 1 engineering institute is preferred but not mandatory with strong automation portfolio.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling high-velocity AI-generated codebases with a focus on detecting low-quality code quickly through mutation and advanced testing techniques.
- Able to independently decide test strategy and gate thresholds for standard code with capability to escalate critical decisions to architects and governance boards.
- Comfortable enforcing high quality standards under delivery pressure and collaborating with engineering teams on quality improvements.
