Software Engineer - Logging & Monitoring

Design, develop, and operate backend applications for Mendix Cloud Logging & Monitoring infrastructure supporting 30+ production deployments globally with 99.99% uptime.

Ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency of logging, metrics, and alerts services for customer applications on the Mendix Cloud.

Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize and deliver solutions, driving continuous improvements in automation and process optimization for cloud backup services.

5+ years of software development experience.

Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go focused on scalable, distributed systems.

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Unix/Linux fundamentals.

Experience with Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry orchestration and observability including container logs and monitoring.

Experienced in designing and managing large-scale, multi-regional cloud infrastructure for logging and monitoring.

Familiar with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Spacelift for cloud provisioning and management.

Strong background in cloud-native technologies with practical knowledge of distributed tracing and telemetry in microservices environments.
