About This Role
- Lead and manage a global firmware verification and validation organization ensuring quality, scalability, and lifecycle support across multiple product verticals.
- Oversee integration and continuous improvement of CPU firmware stack with focus on automation, CI/CD optimization, risk management, and reducing technical debt.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SoC, firmware development, and product management to ensure timely quality milestones and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years experience in embedded software/firmware quality with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python and experience with embedded systems software/firmware development and testing.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 15 years in embedded software/firmware quality; leadership experience as specified.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineering leader with extensive experience managing global teams focused on firmware/software verification and validation for SoC solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of driving automation, process improvements, and integration optimizations in embedded firmware environments including BIOS/UEFI and operating systems for x86/ARM64/RISC-V.
- Experienced in cross-functional coordination across software, hardware, product, and program management with strong delivery focus on quality and lifecycle management.
