About This Role
- Own QA delivery for complex modules and products spanning web, mobile, API, and microservices applications, including defining automation strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java or C# and lead system integration testing in distributed environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab), guide team members on automation best practices, and leverage AI/GenAI tools to optimize QA processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering with strong test automation expertise.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks using Java or C#, experience with Selenium, Appium, BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Reqnroll).
- Strong API testing skills using Postman with RestAssured or RestSharp, and experience in system integration and microservices end-to-end testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab) and working in Agile Scrum environments with JIRA-based test and defect management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading QA delivery and complex automation projects across distributed web/mobile/API/microservices environments.
- Technically deep in automation framework design and CI/CD integration, with strategic use of AI/GenAI tools for enhancing test coverage and debugging.
- Capable of mentoring and guiding QA engineers and developers on automation best practices, test strategy, and quality processes in cross-functional Agile teams.
