About This Role
- Lead and manage an embedded software engineering team focused on microcontroller platform software and embedded security features.
- Own design, development, and maintenance of low-level platform software including peripheral drivers, RTOS integration, and embedded security components such as secure boot and cryptographic services.
- Drive best practices in secure embedded software development and collaborate cross-functionally to align priorities and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of embedded systems software development experience with at least 2 years in leadership or management role.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and ARM Cortex-M microcontroller development.
- Experience delivering low-level software: drivers, RTOS integration, system libraries, and knowledge of embedded system security concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically hands-on leader able to combine people management with deep embedded systems expertise.
- Experienced with building secure, scalable platform software for wireless SoCs, focusing on both proprietary and open-source ecosystems.
- Familiar with security certifications (e.g., PSA Certified, SESIP, FIPS) and managing cross-functional, geographically distributed engineering teams.
