About This Role
- Lead a medium to large engineering team delivering high-impact projects in consumer service applications and Order Management platforms aligned to Nike’s business priorities.
- Own end-to-end solution design, architecture, development, and delivery of scalable backend cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Drive technical leadership, cross-team collaboration, continuous performance optimization, code quality, and mentoring to enhance development and operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 14+ years of software development experience with 2+ years of people management in a product-based environment.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, RESTful services using Java/Javascript/Node.js/Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCE, Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins), test automation frameworks, observability/monitoring tools, and both NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
