About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and support scalable microservices and backend applications using Java and Spring Boot for DTCC enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and platform teams to deliver high-performance, resilient, and secure software solutions, including event-driven Kafka-based services.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD improvements, performance optimization, and production support including monitoring and incident resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience, preferably with backend or distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Enterprise Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL and database performance tuning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in distributed system design, event-driven architectures, and resilient fault-tolerant services in regulated, fast-paced environments.
- Skilled in cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and AWS exposure.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams collaborating cross-functionally with architects, product managers, and infrastructure teams.
