About This Role
- Build, package, and deploy software applications on internal test systems and implement improvements in configuration management processes and tools.
- Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and development of software tools; debug source code to resolve integration issues.
- Train and mentor team members in software testing methodologies and Agile development participation.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in software development or DevOps roles.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Windows and Linux administration (Red Hat preferred).
- Proficiency in shell scripting (PowerShell, Perl, ksh, bash), Python, and knowledge of MSI/RPM packaging, container technologies (Podman), Linux, Ansible, and Kafka.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with Agile software development and product lifecycle management in engineering or electric utilities domain.
- Technically proficient in build automation, configuration management, and cross-platform software deployment.
- Capable of innovating solutions for quality improvements and mentoring peers in testing and integration best practices.
