About This Role
- Own the general ledger maintenance for proprietary funds and discretionary client mandates including trial balances, income statements, and fund balance sheets.
- Act as system owner/sponsor for the company’s accounting and reporting system overseeing financial data preparation, review, and problem resolution aligned with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead coordination with internal and external auditors and support other departments on finance and payment matters ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with at least one institutional fund accounting or portfolio management platform.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting processes including money movement, income recognition, fee accruals, and financial statement preparation.
- Location requirement: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
