About This Role
- Design, develop, and deliver core Java backend services and AI-enabled communication features for the enterprise Notifications platform.
- Build and optimize cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Directly troubleshoot complex production issues and collaborate with multiple teams to convert requirements into production-grade solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of overall software engineering experience including 8+ years in Java backend development.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with event-driven systems, messaging, or notification platforms and 4+ years with AWS cloud services.
- Strong hands-on AI/GenAI implementation experience including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, embeddings/vector search, or similar AI capabilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced individual contributor comfortable with hands-on coding, debugging, and technical leadership through direct contributions.
- Proven ability to develop and operate large-scale, cloud-native, enterprise communication or notification platforms.
- Demonstrated skill in implementing production-grade AI-enabled workflows with awareness of responsible AI practices, operational reliability, and scalability.
