About This Role
- Design, build, implement, and operate highly available Google Cloud Platform (GCP) public cloud infrastructure services for internal Vodafone applications and customers.
- Manage cloud automation and infrastructure as code, supporting migration of legacy IT environments to cloud-native solutions and providing Level 2 and Level 3 operational support for incidents and problems.
- Collaborate with solution design, delivery, architecture, and IT security teams across multiple technology functions and support 24x7 public cloud services across Europe.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Virtual Private Cloud, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Functions.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting using Terraform, Ansible, and Python; knowledge of DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, GoCD, Packer, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Work Experience Required: At least 3 years of cloud computing experience (or 5 years enterprise IT experience) combined with a degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Experience supporting highly business-critical cloud environments and knowledge of ITIL, SOX, and relevant security requirements.

- Experienced in designing and managing multi-tenant GCP environments with strong skills in cloud networking, storage, performance troubleshooting, and security hardening.
- Familiar with Agile delivery frameworks and capable of contributing to cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps adoption in a large-scale telecommunications setting.
- Capable of providing technical consultancy, producing effective technical documentation, and collaborating across global teams for cloud enablement and operational excellence.
