About This Role
- Own hands-on automation engineering tasks including test automation framework evaluation, script creation, and execution.
- Prioritize and manage individual workload in coordination with team members without direct team leadership responsibility.
- Evaluate, learn, and apply new testing tools and technologies to support product quality across automation, performance, manual, and security testing.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software automation and test frameworks.
- Strong programming and debugging skills in Java and Python, specifically with Selenium and Playwright bindings.
- Experience with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket, test management tools (JIRA, Confluence), and familiarity with Agile & Kanban methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically adept individual contributor with strong automation engineering and scripting capabilities, comfortable working without direct team leadership.
- Experienced in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and cloud tools like AWS is a plus.
- Adaptable and proactive in learning new tools and approaches within Agile and Kanban development environments.
