Tier‑1 brand, mid‑level generalist backend title, and broad distributed-systems skillset increase competition.
Strong distributed-systems specialization required but skills are transferable across backend infrastructure roles in many industries.
Explicit 2–4 years requirement plus mandatory distributed-systems and specific tech stack filters increase strictness.
Design and develop a high-throughput active-active microservice framework for dynamic routing and load balancing across multi-site deployments.
Develop core load distribution engine using Finite State Machines and Weighted Average Score algorithms for traffic management.
Implement distributed leader election, consensus mechanisms, and ensure scalability to handle 3,000+ assignments per second with advanced caching and data recovery.
2 to 4 years of industry experience.
Strong hands-on experience in Golang (preferred) and proficiency in Java or C/C++.
Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, concurrency, and Finite State Machines.
Experience with networking/messaging protocols (gRPC, Protobuf v3, RabbitMQ), distributed databases (Apache Ignite/GridGain), consensus tools (Consul Raft, LockAuthority), and persistence/caching solutions (PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch).
Experience designing active-active multi-site distributed architectures handling network partitions and quorum scenarios.
Background in large-volume transaction systems, data migration workflows, and observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry and Kibana.
Familiarity with enterprise security tools (Vault, mTLS) and automated deployment using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
