About This Role
- Own end-to-end testing including design, development, and maintenance of test plans and automation for HPC storage systems.
- Develop and drive automation test suites primarily using Python/Perl and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to define testing strategies, identify regression coverage, and ensure continuous product quality improvement through automated frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 4-6 years experience in software quality engineering with at least 4 years in software engineering focused on storage systems.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks such as pytest and scripting languages like Python or Perl.
- Experience working with Linux OS, Kubernetes, containers (Docker), and knowledge of filesystem concepts (parallel filesystems like Lustre, GPFS preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing and qualification in HPC storage systems and tiered storage solutions with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Familiar with data movement/management technology, RAID, and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Able to independently manage QA documentation and drive automation test suite development within a structured, hybrid working environment.
