About This Role
- Own the technology roadmap and operational costs (including Azure) for the investment platform portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead engineering best practices, tech modernization, cost optimization, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver business-prioritized changes and maintain engineering quality across squads.
Minimum Requirements
- 18+ years of total software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a core cloud engineering role.
- Graduate degree in any discipline required.
- Advanced software engineering skills with proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and strong Azure experience (Data Lake, ADLA, Cosmos DB, SQL, Data Factory, PaaS services).
- Experience in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipeline building, and working in agile environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading large, cloud-focused engineering teams with accountability for technology strategy and operational cost management (Azure).
- Strong technical hands-on expertise combined with architectural excellence following Azure Well-Architected Framework and SOLID design principles.
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships internally (Front Office, Transformation & Innovation, Enterprise Architecture) with focused delivery in investment platform technology.
