About This Role
- Own the full Product Security Incident Response Lifecycle: detect, triage, analyze, resolve automotive product cybersecurity incidents, and communicate outcomes.
- Perform risk assessments and root-cause forensic analysis on vehicle cybersecurity issues, informing future product design improvements.
- Develop incident response plans for electronic control units and vehicle platforms, and provide technical guidance and reports to OEMs and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-6 years experience in Automotive Product Development or Testing with product cybersecurity exposure.
- Proven expertise in Product Cybersecurity including Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems security, automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet), embedded OS (QNX, Embedded Linux), and cryptography in vehicle networks.
- Work Experience Required: 5-6 years in relevant automotive cybersecurity roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in incident response within automotive or embedded systems security, able to handle complex vulnerability investigations.
- Familiar with automotive cybersecurity standards/regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155/R156 and capable of translating technical vulnerabilities into executive-level reports.
- Comfortable working in multi-stakeholder environments including engineering, legal, OEMs, and regulators, with strong operational decision-making under pressure.
