About This Role
- Own end-to-end data lifecycle for Asset Based Finance (ABF) supporting insurance credit portfolios, including intake, normalization, controls, and reporting of loan-level and collateral data.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, drive data quality, and operate data pipelines linking warehouse, analytics, accounting, and reporting systems in a regulated environment.
- Lead Bangalore-based ABF data operations team; manage cross-regional coordination with New York and London, vendor relationships, and data-related projects like onboarding and platform migrations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Finance, Business, Data Management or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in data governance/operations with 7-10+ years specifically in ABF or securitized products across multiple asset sectors.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake data warehousing, BI tools (e.g. Sigma), and ABF/ABS analytics/data sources like Intex, Bloomberg, Markit, rating agency data.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years in data governance/operations including 7–10+ in ABF/securitized products; Location Requirement: Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong subject-matter expert in ABF data operations familiar with complex securitization and collateral structures across diverse sectors (Auto, Consumer, RMBS, CLOs, etc.).
- Experienced operating within a global delivery model supporting US and UK teams with proven coordination across time zones and business units.
- Proven leadership of data ops teams and projects, with ability to implement scalable ETL, data governance frameworks, and effective incident response in a regulated financial environment.
