About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain backend services powering the Integrator module connecting syncOS to PLCs, WMS/WES, ERPs, and other customer floor systems.
- Own API correctness and stability between the Integrator and other syncOS components to ensure reliable integration contracts.
- Develop and improve orchestration logic coordinating shop floor hardware at scale; debug and fix integration issues end-to-end in customer environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, preferably with external services or hardware integration.
- Strong skills in at least one backend language/stack such as Python, plus relational/non-relational data modeling.
- Experience building or consuming REST/gRPC APIs and managing data contracts between services.
- Exposure to industrial systems integration (ERPs, WMS/WES, PLCs) is a strong plus but not mandatory.

- Experienced backend engineer comfortable owning and maintaining complex integration backends in fast-moving startup environments.
- Operator with strong debugging skills spanning multiple services and environments, capable of tracing issues from field symptoms to root cause.
- Developer focused on writing production-grade, testable, maintainable code and collaborating across teams to ship reliable customer solutions.
