Own reliability, scalability, design, development, deployment, and operation of self-service cloud platforms enabling application lifecycle management for eBay's products.
Collaborate with internal customers to deliver cloud products that meet security and operational standards, enhancing observability, incident management, and system performance.
Drive automation and CI/CD improvements to optimize resource utilization, increase deployment velocity, and reduce manual operations.
Minimum Requirements
At least 5 years programming experience in Go or Python.
Minimum 3 years experience working with large-scale, distributed, high-availability, fault-tolerant systems in production environments.
Proven expertise with Kubernetes as Site Reliability Engineer or in related cloud infrastructure roles.
Demonstrated skills in observability tools and practices, API design, and RESTful web services at scale.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes development, including building Kubernetes controllers (highly desirable).
Capable of delivering complex cloud infrastructure products within cross-functional teams and improving CI/CD pipelines.
Familiar with Agile methodologies, operating in high-traffic large-scale environments, and preferably holding Kubernetes or lifecycle management certifications.
