Specialized embedded firmware role in metro Hyderabad with mid-level experience and a known semiconductor employer.
Specialized low-level embedded and wireless experience limits transferability across industries.
Mandatory 5+ embedded firmware experience and low-level hardware/debugging skills enforce strict shortlisting.
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for low-power wireless MCUs and SDKs including device drivers, initialization code, and radio control features.
Own hardware support throughout the IC lifecycle: design, pre-silicon verification, post-silicon verification, release, and long-term support.
Debug complex issues at the hardware/software boundary and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded software for wireless products.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience in embedded software or firmware development.
Strong skills in Embedded C and/or C++, experience with microcontrollers in resource-constrained real-time/bare metal or RTOS environments.
Proven debugging skills with hardware/software boundary tools such as debuggers, JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
Experienced with low-level embedded software components like device drivers, interrupts, and timing-critical code in embedded wireless or similar systems.
Comfortable owning feature development from design through release and supporting silicon bring-up and hardware validation phases.
Familiarity or interest in wireless connectivity technologies and ability to collaborate closely with hardware, silicon, and product teams.
