About This Role
- Own the end-to-end Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) measurement process including model development, validation, refresh, interpretation, and stakeholder adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with external vendors to define business outcomes, review model specifications, and translate MMM outputs into actionable marketing investment insights such as ROI and budget allocation.
- Build repeatable MMM processes, documentation, and standards while progressively transitioning MMM capabilities from vendors to internal teams and integrating MMM with other marketing measurement approaches.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing science, econometrics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) including model development, validation, refreshes, and interpretation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data investigation and model-output validation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability managing complex marketing measurement projects with external vendors and cross-functional teams without formal direct reports.
- Deep expertise in MMM concepts such as adstock/carryover, saturation, multicollinearity, and model calibration with strong analytical judgment for translating results into commercial decisions.
- Experience building or scaling marketing measurement capabilities, including transitioning functions from external vendors to internal teams, and familiarity with complementary measurement methods like experimentation and brand communication analysis.
