About This Role
- Implement, develop, and maintain SOAR automation scripts and workflows using platforms such as Google SecOps, Swimlane, Cortex XSOAR, and others.
- Design, test, and troubleshoot efficient reusable Python code integrated with SOAR platforms and security tool APIs.
- Contribute to process development and improvement for Security Operations, including creating/modifying SOPs, playbooks, work instructions, and measuring impact via metrics/KPIs.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of expert-level proficiency in Python and security-related scripting including SOAP/REST APIs, JSON, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML.
- 3+ years of experience with SOAR platforms (e.g., Sentinel SOAR, Swimlane, Phantom, Cortex XSOAR, Exabeam SOAR).
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Work from Office (3 days a week) in Bangalore with availability during US working hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on expertise integrating SOAR platforms with other security tools and automating workflows using Python.
- Experience authoring SOC documentation such as SOPs, playbooks, and process improvement materials.
- Comfortable working in US time zone overlapping schedules and collaborating cross-functionally with system administrators, ISSOs, and engineers.
