About This Role
- Design and own scalable, resilient backend service architecture using Java/Kotlin and microservices.
- Lead and mentor engineering team, ensuring quality code, robust security practices, and operational reliability through monitoring and observability standards.
- Drive technical strategy for backend products, overseeing delivery and future-proofing design decisions to enhance system performance and stability.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years in software design and development with 5+ years in scalable backend application development.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Kotlin, experience with microservices and JVM-based frameworks (Spring Boot or Micronaut).
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), databases (NoSQL and SQL), CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus).
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years software development, 5+ years backend focus.

- Experienced technical leader comfortable driving backend architectural decisions and mentoring engineering teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Deep expertise in JVM technologies, microservices design, and production-grade system security and observability.
