About This Role
- Lead and mentor a cloud engineering team responsible for end-to-end management of eBay's private cloud traffic infrastructure including load balancing, global traffic management, service mesh, and API gateways.
- Drive design, deployment, and operation of high-performance, fault-tolerant traffic routing solutions handling billions of daily requests to ensure low-latency connectivity and robust security.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver cloud-native product features on time, focusing on scalability, observability, security compliance, and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience including 3+ years in people management or technical leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, containerization, service mesh, microservices and large-scale cloud environment experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in large, distributed global teams.

- Experienced manager with a strong technical background in cloud-native architectures and large-scale private cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams responsible for high-availability, scalable, and secure cloud platforms integrating networking, security, and operations.
