About This Role
- Lead and guide a team of software engineers, setting technical practices, expectations, and managing stakeholder relationships to deliver secure, scalable technology products.
- Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and automation throughout SDLC to improve delivery speed, code quality, and operational outcomes.
- Deliver critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support business objectives within Commercial and Investment Bank technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Proficient in core Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, messaging systems (MQ), Oracle, Postgres, Dapr, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
- Experience leading technology projects and in-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems.
- Experienced with UNIX, Apache Tomcat, SQL, Selenium, and agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing distributed applications and implementing Agile methodologies in large-scale financial industry environments.
- Skilled in responsible adoption and coaching of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools focusing on secure, compliant engineering workflows.
- Strong technical leadership with ability to manage complex systems debugging, stakeholder communication, and team capacity unlock initiatives through automation integration.
