About This Role
- Own development, testing, and maintenance of backend services, APIs, and data components for the syncOS integration platform.
- Implement and extend integration modules in Python and C++ supporting protocols like REST API, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, Websockets, CAN, and TCP/IP for AMRs, AGVs, fleet management, WMS, and sensor OEM platforms.
- Diagnose backend and data flow issues, add automated tests, logging, and documentation, and support deployment validation and customer-site troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and working knowledge of C++.
- Experience with backend services, REST APIs, and data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, Websockets, CAN, and TCP/IP.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in integrating robotic or automation equipment (AMRs, AGVs) with fleet management or orchestration software.
- Familiarity with industrial automation and warehouse management system integration is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment collaborating with engineering, QA, and customer success teams on clearly scoped deliverables.
