Data Analyst, Finance Technology

Develop and maintain detailed understanding of Fund Accounting data processes from creation to consumption, partnering with business and technology teams to define requirements and solutions.

Perform data profiling, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and testing using SQL and structured analysis to ensure data quality and support root-cause investigations.

Translate Fund Accounting consumption needs into governed, scalable reporting and data solutions, coordinating delivery lifecycle and stakeholder communication for reliable outcomes.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

3 to 8 years experience in technical data analyst or similar financial/accounting technology roles in controlled enterprise environments.

Strong SQL skills for profiling, aggregation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis (preferably in SQL Server) and advanced Excel skills.

Ability to define detailed business, data, reporting, and consumption requirements and conduct hands-on data quality analysis, testing, and business validation.

Experienced with Fund Accounting or financial data domains, including knowledge of accounting balances, transactions, capital activity, and investment operations.

Skilled at bridging business and technology teams with clear, testable requirements and strong coordination across multiple functional groups and delivery teams.

Comfortable with technical data and reporting environments, understanding ETL/ELT flows, APIs, data models, and tools for defect triage, governance, and auditability.
