About This Role
- Design, develop, and execute system-level and solution-level test plans for customer-focused networking solutions in Service Provider and Cloud networking environments.
- Build and maintain test lab environments simulating customer deployments; perform validation including feature, scale, migration, performance, and end-to-end solution testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform root cause analysis, leverage AI-driven automation tools to improve testing efficiency, and deliver customer-facing technical documentation and reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in Networking Systems Engineering, System Testing, Solution Validation, or related fields.
- Experience with Service Provider, Cloud, Core, or Edge networking environments; hands-on with large-scale network deployments and system-level testing.
- Proficiency in Python and automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Perl), and experience with network traffic generation/testing platforms like Ixia and Spirent; onsite work from HPE office required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise in Service Provider and Cloud networking technologies including protocols like TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and related standards.
- Operates independently on complex validation projects, with strong skills in automation and customer-facing technical collaboration.
- Experience with Juniper Junos/EVO platform is highly desirable; capable of leveraging AI-powered testing tools for efficiency and enhanced test coverage.
