Java Software Engineer - Director- Software Engineering

Own and lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, distributed Java applications specifically for post-trade asset servicing operations including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Provide hands-on technical leadership applying object-oriented design and design patterns while working closely with business users and technologists to deliver scalable solutions.

Drive cloud migration initiatives, improve application performance, resilience, controls, and lead a global Agile delivery team including mentoring engineers and stakeholder management.

Minimum 7 years professional experience in Java application development with ownership of large-scale distributed systems.

Proficient in Java, Spring, Angular, relational databases, messaging technologies, and RESTful services.

Experience with full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies in a global delivery environment.

Work Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in relevant Java software engineering roles.

Experienced leader combining strong hands-on Java engineering skills with end-to-end technical ownership in financial or asset servicing domains.

Proven ability to manage complex projects involving cloud migrations and cross-functional/global Agile teams.

Strong communication skills with experience interfacing directly with both business users and technology stakeholders at multiple levels.
