About This Role
- Own and architect high-traffic search platform systems supporting a product, ensuring end-to-end functionality and operational reliability.
- Lead architectural decisions to accelerate feature development, improve service quality, and ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Manage incident response for high-priority production issues and influence testing, automation, and disaster recovery standards across the platform.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation.
- Deep expertise in JVM languages (Kotlin, Java) and distributed streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka Streams) at scale.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing high-severity (P0) production incidents in large-scale distributed systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader capable of acting as a single architecture owner and a force multiplier for a wider team.
- Skilled in designing distributed, event-driven data pipelines ensuring data consistency and minimal downtime during updates.
- Familiarity with real-time data serving architectures within strict latency requirements and resilience to partial system failures.
