About This Role
- Lead moderate complexity software development projects through phase gate process including architecture and design involvement.
- Write substantial code that meets project requirements, documentation and design standards, and correct defects identified through testing.
- Assist in requirements gathering, product definition, support for field testing, and provide occasional coaching to engineers and guidance to testing/lab personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience, or no degree with 9-12 years combined education and equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead software projects and produce code and documentation aligning with project standards.
- Experience with defect correction through QA and system testing.
- Work Experience Required: Typically 5-8 years with degree, or 9-12 years combined education and experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in moderately complex software projects with ability to lead and coach junior engineers.
- Skilled in translating project requirements into code and documentation, with knowledge of software architecture.
- Comfortable working independently under the direction of a Software Engineering Manager and collaborating with testing and field support teams.
