Niche utility automation skills limit candidates, but metro location and generic Delivery Manager title increase competition.
Strong domain specificity (utility grid operations, RDSS/ADMS, SCADA) limits cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 8–12 years plus mandatory RDSS/ADMS/SCADA/ETAP expertise and compliance checks enforce strict filters.
End-to-end delivery ownership of RDSS/ADMS projects in utility/grid environments, ensuring technical compliance and schedule adherence.
Primary technical lead for client and vendor interfaces including managing escalations, audits, and acceptance reviews.
Coordinate with Engineering Manager to align engineering execution with project standards and maintain comprehensive project governance including planning and reporting.
Strong domain knowledge in utility/grid operations, distribution automation, RDSS, ADMS, SCADA, and smart grid technologies.
Hands-on experience with ETAP software, power system studies, protection coordination, and distribution network modeling.
8–12 years of relevant experience in utility or grid operations projects focused on RDSS/ADMS or SCADA/Automation.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Power / Automation / Instrumentation Engineering; Master’s preferred.
Experienced in managing technically complex, client-facing projects as single-point delivery owner with proven track record.
Ability to interpret and validate technical documentation such as SLDs, protection schemes, telemetry, and compliance with grid codes.
Comfortable operating at the intersection of technical delivery, project management, and stakeholder coordination within utility and grid automation environments.
