About This Role
- Lead end-to-end implementation and project delivery for indirect tax technology solutions including OneSource, Vertex, or Sabrix implementations, managing multiple full lifecycle ERP or tax technology projects.
- Own client relationships, drive business development opportunities, prepare business cases, and manage stakeholder communications for tax-related transformation projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of 5-10 resources, ensuring timely execution, performance management, and quality assurance within project budgets and timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of work experience with at least 3 full lifecycle ERP or tax technology implementations (OneSource, Vertex, SOVOS) including VAT, GST, SUT, WHT, digital compliance reporting.
- MBA (Finance) from a Tier-1 B-school, CA or CMA qualification is mandatory.
- Experience managing a team of 5-10 members independently.
- Location flexibility includes Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with large, globally distributed teams including onshore and offshore resources, especially in financial process and tax technology domains.
- Proven ability to lead complex tax technology projects for large enterprise clients (G2000) with strong client engagement and solution design skills.
- Strong expertise in tax types and business processes related to finance functions (order to cash, source to pay, record to report) integrated with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
