About This Role
- Lead engineering delivery for OpenBlue's core data platform including development, migrations, and stability work.
- Manage a multi-level engineering organization comprising engineering managers, tech leads, developers, and test engineers across development and QA.
- Own sprint delivery, testing support, production deployment cadence, and coordinate with product and architecture on technical roadmap.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years software engineering experience with at least 3 years managing managers and leads.
- Experience with large-scale data platform initiatives (cloud data warehousing, Iceberg/Snowflake/Postgres) and event driven architecture.
- Experience with Kafka, SNS/SQS, Event Hubs or other message brokers; familiarity with Java, .NET, JavaScript, and React; strong grasp of Agile methodologies; experience managing on-site engineering teams; strong stakeholder management involving US and UK leadership; proficiency in English; experience with observability and production support.

- Strong operational focus on sprint delivery, platform migrations, and cross-team coordination with a technical roadmap partnership.
- Comfortable working with distributed stakeholders across US and UK and managing complex engineering initiatives involving cloud data platforms and event-driven systems.
