Lead Software Engineer - Java

Lead modernization of legacy Java/J2EE applications to cloud-native AWS platforms, defining architecture patterns and design principles.

Drive experimentation through POCs, turning successful trials into scalable production solutions adopted across teams.

Lead architecture, code reviews and mentor engineers; influence engineering standards and promote modern software development practices.

Minimum 12 years of software engineering experience with strong Java/J2EE development and leadership.

Proven expertise in software architecture, microservices, Spring framework, REST APIs, and distributed system design.

Hands-on experience with databases (Postgres, SQL, NoSQL), data access technologies, testing frameworks, Git, Maven, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes.

Experience in autonomous vehicles, mining, construction, or related industrial domains working with onboard and offboard systems integration.

Experienced in leading strategic modernization programs and technology innovation in large, complex enterprise environments.

Comfortable working with global, cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

Strong background in integrating embedded and cloud systems, and knowledgeable in networking protocols used in distributed autonomous platforms.
