About This Role
- Lead end-to-end implementation of the Student Agency program across all blocks in Varanasi district, focusing on peer-based foundational literacy, numeracy, and project-based learning.
- Train and engage district, block, and cluster resource centers along with key stakeholders; regularly visit schools and government offices to monitor quality and address implementation gaps.
- Manage relationships with district and block government officials, document program progress, analyze feedback, and create reports for funders and government stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in the education sector.
- Undergraduate degree in any stream required; master's degree is a plus.
- Fluency in Hindi (verbal and reading).
- Role requires onsite presence in Varanasi with frequent travel to schools and government offices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and maintaining relationships with multiple government and educational stakeholders in a district/block-level government education environment.
- Strong operational focus with ability to identify implementation bottlenecks and lead strategic planning to unblock them.
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting; comfortable designing documentation and content with tools like Canva.
