About This Role
- Manage month-end and ongoing inventory and cost accounting activities including plant closing, inventory valuation, ledger reconciliations, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Support finance leadership (Regional Business Analysts, Finance Managers, Controllers) and contribute to preparation of management metrics and dashboards.
- Drive process improvements, maintain SOPs, ensure internal control compliance (SOX & Non-SOX), and support internal/external audits.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting, with exposure to SAP MM.
- Semi-qualified or qualified Cost Accountant certification required.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, product costing/pricing preferred.
- Flexible to work varied shifts (APAC, EMEA, US) during month-end closing for 3-5 days; able to work hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in inventory and cost accounting within a manufacturing or ERP environment, preferably with SAP experience.
- Capable of cross-functional coordination across multiple teams and geographies with strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with capacity to manage complex month-end closing processes and adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
