About This Role
- Provide technical leadership in power system automation software integration, industrial controls, protocol and SCADA practices to complete complex automation assignments.
- Lead training, customer assistance, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation/protection systems.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget ensuring high quality and safety; assist in proposal preparation for SEL solutions; mentor and supervise staff as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electric power systems, automation practices, and industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus).
- Knowledge of industrial controls, PLCs, Ethernet systems, protocol analyzers, and SCADA practices essential.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in electric power system protection, control, integration, and communication applications, preferably in utility, industrial, consulting engineering, or system integrator environments.
- Demonstrated project management skills or experience and ability to lead multidisciplinary assignments within scope, schedule, and budget.
